Star Trek Into Darkness (small spoilers)
Saw Star Trek this morning. I loved it so much! Laughing, crying, shock, etc. At that one part I heard about half the theater sniffling and crying, as was I. I really like how Michael Giacchino did the score again, and I like how there’s lots of references to the other Star Trek movies and series. I also liked how the whole thing wasn’t action (like terrible superhero movies of late)....

Bi-annual finals sickness is in full force!!
Feeling so shitty. Nose is all stuffed, head is full of pressure. But I’ve got one more final today :( Good thing I already gave up getting an A for that class… This is not going to be pretty.. Went to the doctor and got some meds earlier, and I’m hoping this goes away by next weekend when I leave for London!

Americans have had a rough year, with things that don’t happen here a lot: Aurora, Newton, Boston. I feel shaken up, like last July, as this week is bringing back lots of unhappy memories for me. All of the major school districts are closed tomorrow because there’s supposed to be some huge snowstorm. It’s 2am and there’s not a snowflake in sight. Those lucky pK-12 students and teachers! My university’s not closed yet… because they were intelligent enough to wait to see if it actually snowed. And this just confirms my increasing suspicion toward weather...
